So, I was about to write some dirty words about one magazine, but I’m not in the mood for bitching right now. Totally opposite – I’m in the perfect mood for writing about things that are beautiful and make me feel great. Maybe it’s the weather that seems like the spring weather (quite weird as for the middle of the February – we usually have in Poland snow and frost this time of the year). Maybe it is the most beautiful collection by Dolce & Gabbana fool of flowers of the cherry or maybe apple-tree. Also quite in the spring spirit. Anyway, I’m in the perfect mood. Looking forward to the spring. <3
Just look for those beautiful photos, I just found in February issue of Vogue… Aren’t they just amazing and fabulous? The clothes but also the whole photo shoot? I love the pattern of the apple and cherry blossom (Japanese call their blooming cherry-trees „sakura”) so I’m just simply in love with the fabrics. Especially the one with 3d blossom applications. Also that dress on the following photo – just fab. I could get married in it. I also like the idea of the photo shoot – a bit like a harvest in the country. Being a child I was visiting my grandma in the country every summer. I remember the harvest time and I loved it. Or maybe these are French people as they are holding the baguettes? Whatever – I love the photos anyway!
This photo I found in Polish edition of the March issue of Elle magazine. The beautiful hair done in the manner of Renaissance paintings – the girls painted by Sandro Botticelli could have had hair combed like that…
I just can’t get enough of those photos. So I am about to watch some more mediately.
And if you have some spare cash you can buy some more modest pieces of this collection. Like this lovely cotton top for instance:
The floral prints – the big floral prints – you will also find on clothes by Mary Katrantzou (who really likes the weird prints – do you remember „The Typo Dress” by her – if not please check >>here), Marc Jacobs (who also like graphic prints – you can’t deny that – check the rose and graffiti prints he decided to put on LV stuff and on himself… >>here), Stella McCartney, Christopher Kane, Hermès, Antonio Marras, Peter Pilotto, Giambattista Valli and many others. Big flowers are so in fashion this spring!
Do you like big flowers patterns? Are you ready to wear them this spring? I love such patterns, so I am about to take out from the closet my beloved spring coat with big red and amaranth hibiscus flowers by Desigual. Can’t wait for spring!
